Climate impact we are willing to publish
Being electric is the starting condition, not the achievement. What matters is how the energy is generated, how batteries are retired and whether the numbers can be independently checked.
CO₂ avoided since launch
Electric vehicle operations
Charging energy from solar
Target for fully renewable charging
Six things we hold ourselves to
Zero tailpipe operations
No combustion vehicle will ever be added to the VoltGo platform.
Renewable charging by 2030
Solar canopies today, corporate PPAs and storage next.
Battery second life
Retired packs become stationary storage at VoltGrid sites.
Supply chain standards
Suppliers audited on labour and materials sourcing annually.
Water-light cleaning
Waterless vehicle cleaning across all service hubs.
Published methodology
Our emissions factors and baselines are open for review.
The path to fully renewable operations
2026
31% solar-backed charging
Canopy generation live at flagship sites in all three cities.
2027
Second-life storage at scale
Retired vehicle packs buffering 40 VoltGrid sites.
2028
Corporate renewable PPAs
Long-term contracted clean supply covering the majority of network load.
2030
100% renewable charging
Every kilowatt-hour delivered by VoltGrid matched to renewable generation.
How we calculate avoided emissions
For each completed trip we calculate the emissions a comparable internal combustion vehicle would have produced over the same distance, using vehicle-class-specific fuel economy figures from Pakistan's registered fleet mix.
From that baseline we subtract the actual emissions attributable to the electricity used, applying the published national grid intensity factor and adjusting for on-site solar generation at the charging bay where the energy was drawn.
The result is a conservative net figure. We do not count avoided emissions from trips that would not have happened, and we do not apply offsets.
