Inside the AI dispatch engine that plans every VoltGo trip
How we combine battery state, traffic prediction and driver earnings into a single assignment decision in under 90 milliseconds.
Dispatching an electric fleet is not the same problem as dispatching a petrol fleet. A petrol car is either available or not. An electric car is available for a specific distance, at a specific efficiency, with a specific cost of recharging afterwards.
Our engine scores every candidate vehicle on eight dimensions, including projected state of charge at drop-off, distance to the nearest free VoltGrid bay, and the driver's earnings position for the day.
The result is a fleet that plans its own energy. Idle repositioning fell 31% year on year, and driver earnings variance narrowed sharply.
