VoltGrid crosses 300 ultra-fast charging bays
Our charging arm now operates the largest DC fast-charging footprint in Pakistan, with 96% uptime across three cities.
When we energised the first VoltGrid bay in Karachi, the honest expectation was that charging would be the hardest part of the business. Vehicles can be financed. Drivers can be trained. Grid capacity, land and reliable hardware are slower problems.
Three hundred bays later, the picture looks different. VoltGrid now delivers more than 1.9 GWh per quarter across Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad, at a measured uptime of 96.4%. Nearly two thirds of that energy goes to vehicles that are not ours — private EV owners, corporate fleets and logistics operators.
The next phase is intercity. We are commissioning corridor sites on the M-2 and M-9 so that a Volt Lux can complete Karachi to Lahore with a single twenty-minute stop.
